My Daily Choice Accused of Holding Commissions Hostage After Immunotec Merger

My Daily Choice Accused of Holding Commissions Hostage After Immunotec Merger

What happens when an MLM merges with another MLM?
Apparently — the commission payouts get locked in a basement until everyone swears loyalty to the new overlord.

That’s exactly what’s unfolding right now at My Daily Choice (MDC)…
and let’s just say — promoters are not thrilled to learn that their earned commissions now come with a sign-up requirement.

now before I jump into this if you want to discover the TWO income streams that I leverage because they have been working amazing for several years and helped 1000’s of people to get to their income goals without trading their time for it…

Okay back to the news….

💰 “You Want Your Money? Better Join Immunotec First.”

Here’s the exact tone of the email MDC sent to promoters — translated from “corporate politeness” into “what they actually meant”:

“Hey there, you’ve got commissions waiting…
BUT we’re not paying you until you activate your Immunotec account.
So please… just join the other company and make this easy for us.”

The actual words were only slightly more polished:

“You have MDC commissions waiting… but your Immunotec position isn’t activated yet,
which means you can’t get paid yet.
You earned those commissions — now let’s make sure they hit your account!”

Translation:
‘We totally respect your hard work — now go click the new signup link or you’re not getting a cent.’

🧠 The Genius (or Evil) Strategy

Here’s what actually seems to be happening:

  1. Josh Zwagil, owner of My Daily Choice, recently signed up as a promoter under Immunotec.

  2. Every MDC promoter is being pushed — required — to follow him.

  3. All MDC promoters who do join… guess whose downline they’re placed in?
    Josh Zwagil’s.

That’s not a merger.
That’s a strategic migration of commissionable humans
… also known as a downline funnel dressed up as corporate synergy.

❓ So What’s the Problem?

Let’s count the ways:

Issue Why It’s a Problem
Commission Ransom You only get paid if you switch companies.
Data Risk MDC had 89,188 accounts breached in 2024 — who holds YOUR info now?
Zero Transparency Merger terms? Compensation rules? Legal rights? = UNKNOWN.
Liability Risk This smells like breach of contract territory.

If a lawyer saw this email, there’s a chance they’d lean forward, squint…
…and start drafting a class action before their coffee got cold.

⚖️ Could This Be Illegal?

Not automatically — but withholding earned commissions until promoters join a new company?

A judge might call that:
👉 “Financial coercion for corporate benefit.”
or
👉 “Follow the owner or lose your money.”

Either way… it’s the kind of thing that turns “business strategies” into legal precedents.

🤔 Is Immunotec to Blame… or Just Watching From the Sidelines?

This is where things get murky.

We don’t know if Immunotec approved this tactic.
We don’t know if they even want MDC’s baggage.
And if this really is Zwagil’s personal funnel play?
Immunotec might be quietly eating popcorn in the back row thinking:

“We just wanted more sales reps…
not a compensation crime scene.”

If they are aware — this may be the worst MLM merger rollout of 2025.
If they aren’t — they may inherit 10,000 angry downline members asking where their money is.

🧨 What Promoters Should Be Asking — RIGHT NOW

If I were in MDC, here’s what I’d demand before clicking ANY link:

  • 🧾 Where are the full merger terms?

  • 🧑‍⚖️ Are my current contracts legally binding?

  • 💳 Why can’t I get paid from the company I already worked for?

  • 🔐 Who has my account + tax data after the merger?

  • 📉 Is MDC planning to fade out quietly… once everyone migrates?

Because nobody wants to wake up six months later thinking:
“Wait… did I just unknowingly build someone else’s compensation plan?”

🧯 Final Verdict

This isn’t normal.
This isn’t standard practice.
And this definitely isn’t “just how mergers work.”

This is earned commissions being used as leverage
with promoter income tied to someone else’s financial benefit.

Whether this ends as a quiet transition…
a messy fallout…
or a lawsuit with a catchy title…
depends on how fast promoters push back — and how loud.

Because in the world of MLMs…
if they can hold your money hostage once —
they’ll do it again.

Like I said earlier if you want the TWO recommended income streams that work hand to hand to get you to your income goals faster than ever before…
