Bryan Benson Reappears After Aurum Foundation’s Collapse
Former Aurum Foundation CEO Bryan Benson has resurfaced in a webinar with African investors following the investment platform’s collapse in July 2026.
The October 2026 discussion marked a significant public appearance for Benson, who had reportedly been largely absent from public view since a video filmed in what appeared to be an airport lounge shortly after Aurum stopped operating.
During the webinar, Benson addressed questions about the company’s leadership, his own involvement, and what he claims to have discovered since the collapse.
He also stated that he had been cooperating with regulators and law-enforcement investigators in several jurisdictions.
However, those claims have not been independently confirmed through publicly available investigative records in the information provided.
For investors still waiting for answers, the webinar raised as many questions as it resolved.
Who actually controlled Aurum Foundation, what role did Bryan Benson play, and is there any realistic path toward recovering lost investments?
Let’s examine what was revealed.
Before we jump in!
If you’re looking for legitimate ways to build income online, my good friend Dan offers a FREE training showing a crypto cash flow strategy that has helped people achieve approximately 3% to 10% per month while maintaining 100% control of their own funds (as with any investment, results aren’t guaranteed).
You’ll also hear from Paul, who teaches complete beginners how to build an online business using AI and proven systems.
Both have been faithfully helping people for years, and I’ve seen some incredible testimonies.
Most importantly, remember that our greatest hope is never found in money, but in Jesus Christ. These are simply tools that can help us become wise stewards of what God has entrusted to us.
Proof this works:

Now, let’s dig in.
What Happened to Aurum Foundation?

Aurum Foundation was promoted as a cryptocurrency-related investment opportunity with an international network of promoters.
The platform collapsed in July 2026 amid claims that it had experienced a hacking incident.
Its collapse left investors questioning what happened to their money and who was ultimately responsible for the operation.
The available reporting describes Aurum as an alleged Ponzi-style investment scheme.
Such schemes typically depend on new participant deposits to fund payments to earlier investors rather than generating sufficient legitimate business revenue.
However, the supplied information does not include audited financial records or a final court finding establishing the complete movement of Aurum’s funds.
The distinction matters because identifying an unsustainable investment model is not the same as proving the individual criminal responsibility of every person associated with it.
Nevertheless, Aurum’s collapse and the unresolved questions surrounding its leadership warrant serious scrutiny.
Bryan Benson Returns to Address African Investors

Benson participated in an hour-plus webinar hosted by a Nigerian promoter known online as LawyerTaj, who also uses the name CryptoTraderXtraordinaire.
The discussion focused on the aftermath of Aurum’s collapse and the concerns of investors who had been encouraged to participate.
During the webinar, LawyerTaj acknowledged that the opportunity had been promoted to vulnerable groups, including retirees, widows, orphans, and people struggling financially.
That admission is especially troubling.
People facing financial hardship may be more susceptible to investment promises that appear to offer a way out of difficult circumstances.
When an investment opportunity collapses, the consequences can extend far beyond the loss of discretionary income.
For some families, the money involved may represent retirement savings, emergency funds, or resources needed for everyday living.
Those investors deserve clear answers and respectful treatment.

Benson Claims He Has Been Collecting Evidence
Benson said that since his disappearance from public view in July, he had been gathering information to determine what happened inside Aurum.
He claimed to have collected evidence and cooperated with investigators.
According to his account, he had supplied information about other individuals involved in the business to regulatory and law-enforcement authorities.
Benson also suggested that investigations were active in more than one jurisdiction.
These statements are important, but they remain unverified in the material provided.
No specific law-enforcement agency, official case number, or public regulatory announcement was supplied to substantiate the claimed investigations.
That does not establish that his statements are false.
It means investors should distinguish between what Benson says he has done and what can be independently confirmed.
Claims of cooperation are not substitutes for documented investigative findings.
Who Was Really in Control of Aurum Foundation?
One of the central questions during the webinar concerned Aurum’s ownership and management.
Investors wanted to know who made the decisions and controlled the business.
Benson said that during his involvement, he interacted with individuals who represented themselves as having significant control.
He identified two people.
The first was Ahmad Zen, also identified in the supplied reporting as Ahmad Zenalabdin.
Benson claimed that Zen introduced him to Aurum and employed him in connection with the company.
The second was Alexandru Pitt, whom Benson described as an owner listed on paper in connection with a Dubai entity.
Later references to this individual reportedly used a variation of the surname, creating some uncertainty about the precise spelling and identity.
These are Benson’s descriptions of the individuals’ roles.
The supplied information does not independently establish their ownership interests, legal responsibilities, or involvement in any wrongdoing.
That distinction is particularly important when discussing people who have not publicly responded to the allegations.
What Do We Know About Ahmad Zen?
Ahmad Zen appeared in early Aurum promotional material.
The supplied reporting identifies him as Ahmad Zenalabdin and describes him as a person connected to the company’s early operations.
Benson’s account places Zen in an important position because he allegedly introduced Benson to the opportunity.
According to the available social-media information, Zenalabdin’s last identified public post was dated November 1, 2025, following photographs associated with travel to Thailand.
However, his present location has not been established.
The material also speculates about possible links between people in Dubai and individuals operating from Eastern Europe or Thailand.
Those geographical connections remain unconfirmed.
A person’s nationality, travel history, or presence in a particular country is not evidence of participation in financial wrongdoing.
The important questions are whether ownership and operational records can identify who controlled Aurum and who had authority over investor funds.
What About Alexandru Pitt?
Benson also named Alexandru Pitt as someone he understood to be associated with ownership of Aurum’s Dubai entity.
The available information does not include verified corporate records establishing Pitt’s exact legal role.
Nor does it include a public response from him.
As a result, the most accurate conclusion is that Benson identified him as a person connected to the business’s ownership structure.
Further documentation would be necessary to establish the extent of any involvement.
For investors, verified company-registration documents, contractual records, and financial information would be more useful than speculation about who might have been operating behind the scenes.
Bryan Benson Explains His Own Involvement
Benson’s account of his relationship with Aurum also deserves attention.
He claimed that he resigned from his position in March 2026.
According to his explanation, he subsequently took approximately one month away while recovering from a hair-transplant procedure.
However, Benson acknowledged that he continued receiving compensation to attend Aurum promotional events after his reported resignation.
He said that arrangement continued until the company’s collapse in July.
This raises an important distinction between holding a formal executive title and continuing to perform promotional services.
Even if someone has resigned from an official management position, their continued participation in marketing activities may still influence how investors perceive their relationship with the business.
The webinar did not conclusively establish the scope of Benson’s responsibilities after March.
However, his acknowledgment of continued compensation creates legitimate questions about the nature of his involvement.
Investors deserve to know who was representing the company, who was being paid, and what representations were made while new money was entering the operation.
The Role of LawyerTaj and African Promoters

The webinar’s host also plays an important role in understanding Aurum’s reach.
LawyerTaj described how Aurum had been promoted to people facing significant financial challenges.
That raises broader concerns about recruitment practices.
When promoters encourage financially vulnerable people to participate in high-risk investments, they have a responsibility to avoid misleading claims and unrealistic promises.
Income projections should be supported by evidence.
Risks should be disclosed.
And the source of investment returns should be independently verifiable.
Investors should not be encouraged to commit retirement savings or essential household funds based on promotional enthusiasm.
Regardless of whether individual promoters understood the full nature of Aurum’s operations, the losses experienced by affected participants deserve serious attention.
DARA Emerges With an Aurum Recovery Proposal

Another development following Aurum’s collapse involves the Digital Asset Recovery Alliance, commonly referred to as DARA.
The initiative has reportedly been promoted by Shane Morand, who previously held the title of Aurum’s Chief Network Development Officer.
DARA has been presented as a potential way for Aurum investors to recover losses through a cryptocurrency staking-related opportunity.
However, the proposal reportedly requires participants to commit additional money.
That creates an immediate concern.
A new investment opportunity is not the same thing as recovering funds from a collapsed platform.
If participants must make fresh deposits or purchase tokens in the hope of recovering previous losses, they are taking on additional financial exposure.
The supplied reporting characterizes DARA as another alleged Ponzi-style scheme, but it does not provide a court finding establishing that conclusion.
Investors should therefore examine the program’s terms, ownership, token economics, and independently verifiable revenue before considering participation.
Why DARA’s Recovery Claims Deserve Scrutiny
A genuine recovery process normally involves identifying assets, tracing transactions, pursuing legal claims, or administering recoverable funds.
A new cryptocurrency staking program does not automatically accomplish any of those objectives.
If an organization claims it can recover Aurum losses, investors should ask several questions.
Where are the recovered funds coming from?
Has the organization obtained control of any actual Aurum assets?
Is there a documented relationship with a court-appointed administrator or legitimate investigative authority?
What fees or deposits are required?
And what happens if the new cryptocurrency opportunity loses value?
The answers should be supported by documentation rather than promotional assurances.
Morand reportedly stated that recovering his family’s funds was his primary motivation for participating in DARA.
That may describe his personal objective, but it does not establish that the program can recover money for other investors.
A recovery opportunity should be judged by verifiable results, not by the confidence of its promoters.
Are Authorities Investigating Aurum Foundation?
Benson claims he has been cooperating with investigators and regulators.
He also claims to have supplied names and evidence concerning other individuals associated with Aurum.
However, the supplied information does not identify an official investigation that can be independently confirmed.
It also does not establish that arrests or criminal charges have been filed.
Investigations can occur without immediate public announcements, but investors should avoid treating an unverified claim of investigative cooperation as proof that enforcement action is imminent.
Until an appropriate authority confirms the existence and status of a case, the outcome remains uncertain.
What Should Aurum Investors Do Now?
If you invested in Aurum, the most important priority is protecting your remaining financial resources and preserving evidence.
Keep copies of transaction records, wallet addresses, promotional materials, messages, account screenshots, and any communications involving promised returns.
Document the names and contact details of people who promoted the opportunity to you.
If you made payments through a bank or payment provider, contact that institution promptly to ask about possible dispute or fraud-reporting procedures.
Report suspected investment fraud to the appropriate financial regulator or law-enforcement agency in your jurisdiction.
And be especially cautious of recovery programs that require additional deposits.
There is no guarantee that Aurum investors will recover their losses.
But taking documented, legitimate steps is safer than committing more money to another unverified opportunity.
Final Verdict: Bryan Benson’s Return Leaves Major Questions Unanswered
Bryan Benson’s appearance on the October 2026 webinar was significant because investors finally had an opportunity to hear directly from Aurum’s former CEO.
He claimed to have gathered evidence.
He claimed to be cooperating with authorities.
He identified individuals he believed were connected to Aurum’s ownership and control.
And he acknowledged that he continued receiving compensation for promotional appearances after his reported resignation.
However, important questions remain.
Who ultimately controlled Aurum’s funds?
What happened to investor deposits?
Can Benson’s claims of regulatory cooperation be independently confirmed?
What responsibilities did the various executives and promoters hold?
And is there a legitimate recovery process available to affected investors?
Until those questions are answered through reliable documentation, investors should remain cautious.
A webinar may provide useful information.
But it cannot replace transparency, verified financial records, and accountability.
The Greatest Hope Is Found in Jesus Christ
Before ending this review, I want to speak to anyone who has experienced financial loss, disappointment, or betrayal.
Money can disappear.
Businesses can collapse.
People can break promises.
And when you’ve placed your trust in something that fails, the emotional consequences can be painful.
But there is One who deserves our ultimate trust.
Jesus Christ.
Jesus asked in Mark 8:36 what it profits a person to gain the whole world but lose their soul.
That question reminds us that our greatest need is not financial success.
Our greatest need is reconciliation with God.
The Bible teaches that all of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.
We cannot erase our sin through good deeds, financial success, or religious accomplishments.
But God, in His love and mercy, provided the way to salvation.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day.
Through repentance and faith in Him, we can receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8–9 teaches that salvation is God’s gift of grace through faith, not something earned by our works.
If you do not know Jesus Christ, I encourage you to seek Him sincerely.
Read the Gospel of John.
Learn what Jesus taught.
Understand why He died and rose again.
Turn from sin and place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior.
No financial opportunity can offer what Jesus Christ freely gives.
Forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.
Businesses come and go.
Wealth rises and falls.
But Jesus Christ remains faithful.
All glory and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
