About a year back, Derek jumped into affiliate marketing and has since then grown his Instagram handle, buildwealth_farmer (or buildwealth farmer), from nothing to a whopping 100,000+ followers. That’s quite an achievement!
His approach to affiliate marketing isn’t too different from others in his field. Derek often talks about various side hustle ideas and highlights his top pick among them.

The catch about Derek is that he’s probably the first farmer to take this route, giving him a unique edge in the affiliate marketing space.
Cost To Join Derek Lancaster
Derek promotes the ‘Legendary Marketers 15 Day Business Challenge’, which is quite affordable at just $7. However, the real game-changer for him was another program, the ‘Affiliate Marketing Business Blueprint’, costing around $2500.
Final Verdict
One thing that I’m not too keen on is how this program is tailored. It’s all about setting up your affiliate marketing around Legendary Marketer, not really exploring other niches or affiliate opportunities.
This approach is similar to what you might find in other programs like High Achiever Society and Roadmap To Riches. The ideal affiliate marketing program should allow you to join for free and not limit you to promote only their products – something that doesn’t really align with FTC guidelines.
As for Derek Lancaster, he’s still relatively new to this, with just a year under his belt despite his rapid success. I see him as a sincere and hardworking individual who balances his farming with his business.
However, when it comes to the products he endorses, they’re not something I would recommend. I believe in a program that lets you build your business in any niche and monetize it with various affiliate offers, not just ones from the course itself. Plus, it’s free to affiliate with the right know-how, though they’re strict about who gets to promote, ensuring compliance.
