SquareOne Co-Founder Travis Martin Arrested on Child Sex Charges
- MLM News
- January 18, 2025
In a shocking turn of events, Travis Bradley Martin, co-founder of SquareOne, has been arrested on serious child sex charges. This development sends ripples not just through Martin’s personal life but also raises significant questions about SquareOne’s future and the ethical foundation of its leadership. If you’ve ever wondered about the real people behind some of these companies, this is a tale that makes you pause—and then read on.
The Arrest
On January 8th, 2025, Martin was taken into custody by the Lehi Police Department in Utah. The charges against him are as grim as they are numerous:
- Aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor
- Dealing in material harmful to a minor
- Sodomy on a child
- Rape of a child
Martin is currently being held at Utah County Jail without bail, given the severity of these allegations. As of January 15th, 2025, the case has already sent shockwaves through the MLM community and beyond.
The Rise of SquareOne
SquareOne, a health and wellness MLM, launched in late 2024 with Martin and three other co-founders:
- Alyssa Cowart, a former Truvision Health distributor
- Shawn Gibson, a Truvision Health co-founder
- Gavin Collier, a Utah-based attorney specializing in product formulation
SquareOne was already under scrutiny, given its ties to previous MLM ventures, but Martin’s arrest adds a new layer of infamy to the company’s short history.
A Troubled MLM History
Before SquareOne, Martin co-founded Against All Odds in 2022, which itself was a reboot of Dan Putnam’s LurraLife. Against All Odds marketed its flagship product, ActivGreens, a health supplement with lofty promises. In August 2024, Martin was still actively promoting Against All Odds, only to pivot to SquareOne’s AMP-K Greens by September 2024.
Interestingly, AMP-K Greens looks suspiciously similar to ActivGreens, leading some to question whether Martin was simply rebranding the same product under a different name. Both products are believed to be manufactured at a Utah facility, with Martin’s involvement running deep.
Truvision Health Connections
SquareOne isn’t Martin’s first MLM rodeo. He and co-founder Shawn Gibson share a history with Truvision Health, a health-focused MLM that rebranded as Truvy in 2020. Although Truvy still operates, there is no mention of Martin on its website—perhaps a calculated move to distance the company from its former association.
What’s Next for SquareOne?
With Martin behind bars and ineligible for bail, SquareOne’s future hangs in the balance. MLM companies are often precariously built on the reputations of their leaders, and Martin’s arrest could trigger a domino effect, scaring away distributors, customers, and potential recruits.
Against All Odds, too, may face fallout, especially given Martin’s suspected role in the production of its flagship products. Can these companies survive the PR nightmare, or will they crumble under the weight of their founder’s scandal?
Conclusion
Travis Martin’s arrest is a dark chapter not just for SquareOne but for the MLM industry as a whole. While the details of the charges are unsettling, they serve as a reminder to scrutinize the people behind the promises. If nothing else, this case underscores the importance of doing due diligence before aligning yourself with any company—especially one that promises the world in exchange for your hard-earned cash.
