What is Shaklee Review
Shaklee is a network marketing company that specializes in the health and wellness niche where it claims it puts science behind their products.
Just for reference, the health and wellness niche is one of the most popular categories in the MLM space.
Shaklee Reviews – The Company
Shaklee was founded back in 1956 by a man named Forrest Shaklee.
Forrest Shaklee, back in 1915, was the first person who created a multi-vitamin supplement in the United States.
Now that was well before the Shaklee company was founded but very interesting regardless.
Forrest Shaklee was a nutritionist and continue to research the positive effects of supplementation to the human body.
One thing led to another and eventually he started the Shaklee Corporation in 1956 with his two sons.
Shaklee’s supplement products took off and became super popular which led the company to start manufacturing and selling organic cleaning products in 1960.
When 1970’s rolled along, Shaklee became a publicly traded company and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
In the 1980’s, Shaklee headquarters was moved to downtown San Francisco
After a sour deal with Jacobs Group who tried to take over the company by buying a lot of shares, Shaklee eventually became a privately health company again.
In 2004, Shaklee was sold again to Roger Barnett who was a multi-millionaire.
Today, the company generates anywhere between $200 million to $800 million per year in revenue.
In it’s history, Shaklee has had it’s run with the FTC which all American big companies have, but it was cleared up.
Today, Shaklee is a profitable direct sales company with over 1 million distributors worldwide.
As of right now Roger Bernett serves as the CEO of the company.
Shaklee specializes mainly in the nutritional supplement market where it offers different vitamins, protein shakes, and meal replacements to help with a healthy lifestyle.
They do have many products in the beauty line as well which include lotions, natural makeup and anti-aging creams.
Last but not least, they have many products when it comes to cleaning and water filtration.
To be honest they have so many products to list, it’s better to shake out their website for more details.
Shaklee Compensation Plan
When it comes to the Shaklee compensation plan you are rewarded both for selling their products to retail customers and building a sales team.
Instead of me trying to explain the compensation plan, I found a video of a distributor who did a good job.
Just note that this video is going to be biased so use it for information purposes only.
Shaklee Scam or Legit?
So does the Shaklee scam exist?
Well let’s just look at the facts shall we…
First, it has a great history of how it was founded and is one of the oldest MLM’s out there.
Most companies don’t survive five years, but this company has survived the test of time and continue to be profitable.
The leadership behind the company is top notch which reflects how well the company is growing…
Not to mention they do have great products that their customers love from the feedback I found online.
If you are interesting in joining Shaklee, I would first test out their products before becoming a distributer.
You have to be behind the products 100% to even get a fair shot on success.

When it comes to MLM, you must learn how to sell the products to actual customers and build a team of people so you magnify your results.
In the traditional way, MLM companies want you to make a list of 100 people and call them up to see if they are interested in the product or even becoming a business partner.

The best way to build your network marketing business is have people approached you online about your products and services…
